Built for strength and durability, the range of monocoque trailers from Harry West have been developed to tackle the toughest working conditions on the land. Available in 10 and 12 models (& 14ton in grain), each features a parallel chassis with monocoque constructed tapered body for easy uploading, and tandem axles. The silage equipment kit provides front loading sides. Automatic opening back and silage canopy as standard. Sprung drawbar and super single wheel alignment is now fitted as standard on both 10 and 12 tonne models. Also sprung axles standard on 14 Ton Grain Trailer. Body Monocoque design constructed in 3mm steel with 4mm thick floor and 5mm ribs for maximum strength. The rear grain door is hinged at the top and locked with a 22mm diameter lockbar. The tapered body is equipped with rope hooks all round and steps for easy front access. Hydraulic Rams The trailers are lifted in two or three-stage rams, depending on model capacity, and feature long-life, hard-wearing seals. Chassis The chassis is ruggedly constructed from 250 x 150 x 8mm box section with load-bearing cross-members and extra strong ram and pivot mounting plates. Reducer bushes are supplied for the ring hitch. Axles Heavy duty beams with monocoque type hubs and wide cam, hydraulically operated brakes.  Sprung drawbars are standard on the 10, 12 and 14 tonne trailers. Road Lighting All trailers are equipped with full road lighting to MOT requirements. Rear lights are positioned under the trailer for added protection against accidental damage. (Silage Trailer) Optional Extras A wide range of optional extras is available to suit individual requirements, including side loading silage sides, automatic up-and-over and hydraulic grain doors.
